Once considered by most corporates as a nice to have, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) impact has today become a key performance criterion – with a company’s ESG engagement increasingly defining its ability to secure investment, attract and retain top talent, establish strategic partnerships or maintain a positive reputation. 

As such, companies across every industry are under increasing pressure to visibly demonstrate ESG progress. According to the latest FTI Consulting Resilience Barometer – which gathered insights from 2869 large G20 companies – over a third of G20 companies say they are under extreme pressure to improve their ESG credentials, and 95% have increased their commitment to ESG over the last 12 months.
